Our inspiring beginning

DexPress Solutions began its journey from DexPress Interpreting, established in 2019. The vision truly solidified when I teamed up with Lina, who lives in Lewisham and is Deaf. This collaboration was sparked by a clear gap in services within the Lewisham community, inspiring us to create a comprehensive hub that genuinely supports the Deaf community.

Our guiding principles

At DexPress Solutions, our core beliefs are rooted in inclusion, accessibility, and equality. We are deeply aligned with equality law, striving to transform the way the Deaf community interacts with the world. We achieve this by providing a unique 'hub' of expertise where professional interpreting, lived experience, and advocacy converge to facilitate true understanding and empowerment.

Meet Rabira Dachi: The professional backbone

Rabira Dachi is a qualified and NRCPD registered BSL interpreter, bringing the professional backbone to DexPress Hub. With a deep commitment to linguistic accuracy and confidentiality, Rabira ensures all communication services meet strict ethical and professional standards, providing the "professional bridge" for seamless interaction in all settings.

Meet Lina Cankas: The lived experience expert

Lina Cankas provides the "lived experience" that defines the Hub’s culture. As a Deaf individual, Lina understands the nuances of the community, the systemic barriers to access, and the cultural richness of BSL. Her expertise ensures that DexPress Hub isn't just providing a service, but is creating an environment that is truly Deaf-friendly and empowering.
